appauling made an order apparently got sent out in 3 packages and 2 companies the 2 through yodal never updated on tracking and then disapeared messaged them got told 2 have been delivered nothing on other finally got a delivery of an open box delivered by amazon yet only 2 adapters and a cable the only thing i needed was the monitor.... no monitor no solar panels just a cable and 2 connectors what the heck

This company will keep you waiting, tell you they sent the item out, and even give you a supposed tracking number that is 3 days old. Called Fedex, and the item is not in their computer. I was able to cancel the solar panels, but now they are trying to get me to wait another 9 days to get the regulators. Poor company.

I've had four of their 100 watt panels since 2014 and they've been excellent. I noticed one had developed marks on it and sent a 'contact us' message to them asking what this was. Four days later and nothing. Products are good to great, but guess there's no one behind that. Once you buy, good by!

50 Amp DCDC charger with MPPT ordered via Amazon , was delivered in 3 days so excellent on that front.
The box the charger came in was damaged but the Amazon packaging was not.
No manual supplied and nothing to download off the website , 3 requests made for them to supply a tax invoice , no response
Please do not order any thing from this company , if this is the sort of customer service they offer then spend your money elsewere

I purchased a flexible 50 watt solar panel, controller, and bluetooth controller. When it arrived the panel had special connections, and no wire to connect it to the controller, so I had to purchase their special connections or void the warranty. Then Renogy sent me a request to review their product, which I could not review how it worked because I still did not have all the hardware. So I gave it two stars because it does not come with the necessary hardware. Then they emailed me to let me know that my review did not meet their criteria. So if your review is critical, it is disregarded and not posted. Beware any company that censors their reviews. I did however buy a solar panel from batterytender.com, that comes with all required hardware and works as advertised.

Horrible company with faulty products. We’ve spent the past year and change going back and fourth with Renogy trying to get this system to work. First we were told we were doing it wrong. After weeks of troubleshooting, they finally came to the conclusion that we needed an extra part. Fine. We spent the money and received it a few weeks later. Still no luck. The system was completely dead. After calling every day for weeks with no luck getting a live person, we finally get a rep and they tell us we didn’t actually need the extra part. So we wasted more money. They told us to send the inverter back and they would send us a new one. They never mentioned that they discontinued our particular model and ended up sending us a less expensive model. More money, out the window. After waiting another two months for them to finally get the new inverter to us, we STILL have no power. At this point, they just stopped answering our emails and calls. Absolutely no luck getting through to anyone for months on end. I reached out to Amazon this morning and they refunded us the money for the battery. I had to file a complaint with my bank to get the other portion refunded that was ordered through eBay because we were too far past the refund time frame for them to help us. Please, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Renogy. If you find yourself in the same position I described above, call your bank and file a complaint. Trying to go through Renogy is a waste of time, and honestly, it’s insulting the way they ignore you after spending thousands of dollars on their defective products.

I ordered a lithium iron battery and the charge controller for it nearly a month ago. The delivery tracking on the website does not function at all! Finally on Saturday the delivery arrived. And of course the charge controller wasn't with the battery... This is so frustrating! And as a topper, customer service is only a message saying please hold .... for no one to get back to you....

Starter kits that do not have enough things to start. Sent 2 panels but no way to connect them. Over 7 weeks ordered and still waiting for the inverter

I am amazed at the bad reviews? I bought a Renogy starter kit at amazon. Worked great! So much so i bought the expansion kit. I added a second battery. I camp but have to use a cpap machine. The Solar Y Branch Connectors are a dream SOOOOO simple to add, and solved my dead battery issue. It charges both batteries within hours. I camped for a week this month April 21 and no problems. I was shocked to see the batteries were charged by early afternoon. I don't know what people are having trouble with? They answer questions, have free and super fast shipping.

I know you’re thinking about ordering. That’s why you’re here. DON’T DO IT. You will regret it. I ordered a 100 watt solar suitcase on sale for $220 on 3/17. Received an email that it shipped on 3/19 with a FedEx tracking number. Expected delivery date 3/25 per FedEx. On 3/24 I checked the tracking details. Well, FedEx said Renogy printed a shipping label but never shipped it. I sent an inquiry to “customer service” who responded with an apology, a case number and a promise to investigate the status and get back to me in 2 business days. Well, 7 business days later, I had heard nothing from them but I received an email thanking me for my order and asking for an honest review of the solar panel that they never shipped to me! Read the HUNDREDS of similar negative reviews on this site, BBB, etc. It will happen to you. Don’t do it. Yes, Zamp is twice the cost but you will own a superior product that has a real warranty that is honored by the company. It’s MADE in America (not just assembled here).

Do yourself a favor and don't ever deal with this company. I purchased a solar controller within a month it has failed, and unfortunately there is no customer service.

Logged a ticket for a faulty inverter purchased in 2020 and Renogy cancelled the ticket after a month with no comment. I logged another ticket and have contacted them several times since. Each time they respond with a few more question then nothing. It's a good thing for them that we they're not a registered business in Australia or they would already have received a summons to appear in the small claims court. Hopefully the Australian Government can kick this sham supplier out of the Australian market.
